About Us

Atlas Capital Management has a passion for emerging markets.

This passion is fuelled by the belief that too many investors are under-invested in developing economies, or only accessing them via broad-based, generic investment funds. We think investors can benefit by delving deeper.

Our team, led by founder John Pereira, has a track record at developing innovative emerging markets products previously unavailable to Australian investors. In April 2007 John and his team (then Olympus Funds Management) launched India Equities Fund (ASX: INE), Australia's first listed entity dedicated to investing in Indian equities.

Since the time of India Equities Fund's launch we have seen some of the best and the worst of global markets but the emerging economies have been clear standouts, particularly the two billion-plus population powerhouses, China and India.

All the fundamentals are in place for this growth to continue. There will no doubt be ups and downs along the way, as with all asset classes, but we are confident that in the long term investors will benefit by participating in some of the most incredible global economic power shifts the world has seen.
